PURPOSE

The Tax Report in ERPNext helps HR and Finance users generate detailed breakdowns of employee tax obligations, including gross pay, non-taxable income, government deductions, and the amount of tax withheld for a specific period.


Step 1: Navigate to the Tax Report

  1. Go to the ERPNext dashboard.

  2. In the Search Bar, search for Tax Report.

  3. Click on Tax Report under the HR module.


Step 2: Set the Reporting Period

  1. Use the date filters to set the From Date and To Date.

  2. Example:

    • From Date: 04-01-2025

    • To Date: 04-30-2025

Step 3: Generate the Report

  1. Click on Generate New Report.

  2. The system will fetch payroll details based on processed salary slips for the given period.

Step 4: Review the Report

The generated table includes:

  • TIN: Employee’s Tax Identification Number

  • Company: Employer name

  • Gross Pay

  • Non-Taxable Income

  • Government Deductions (e.g., SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG)

  • Taxable Income

  • Tax Withheld
