PURPOSE
The Tax Report in ERPNext helps HR and Finance users generate detailed breakdowns of employee tax obligations, including gross pay, non-taxable income, government deductions, and the amount of tax withheld for a specific period.
Step 1: Navigate to the Tax Report
Go to the ERPNext dashboard.
In the Search Bar, search for
Tax Report
.Click on Tax Report under the HR module.
Step 2: Set the Reporting Period
Use the date filters to set the From Date and To Date.
Example:
From Date:
04-01-2025
To Date:
04-30-2025
Step 3: Generate the Report
Click on Generate New Report.
The system will fetch payroll details based on processed salary slips for the given period.
Step 4: Review the Report
The generated table includes:
TIN: Employee’s Tax Identification Number
Company: Employer name
Gross Pay
Non-Taxable Income
Government Deductions (e.g., SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG)
Taxable Income
Tax Withheld
