PURPOSE

The Approver Matrix allows users to:

  • Define whether an approver is a 1st Level Approver or 2nd Level Approver 
  • Specify the Application Types that a particular approver can approve

Steps to Assign an Approver

  1. Search for the Employee List – Navigate to the employee records.
  2. Locate the Approver Matrix – Scroll down to find the Approver Matrix section.
  3. Assign the Approver’s Name – Add the approver’s email address.
  4. Define the Workflow – Select the appropriate workflow (e.g., For First Approval).
  5. Set the State – Choose the approval state (e.g., Approved, Retract, Draft).
  6. Select the Application Type – Assign which applications the approver is responsible for (e.g., Leave Application, Timesheet Application, Overtime Application).
  7. Click Save – Finalize the changes to update the approver settings.

This ensures a structured and efficient approval process for various applications.
